About Us
Plumstead Islamic Centre is a vibrant and welcoming hub dedicated to serving the spiritual, educational, and social needs of the community.
The idea of opening the Islamic Centre was put forward in August 2022, and construction work began in February 2023. After months of dedication and effort, the centre was first opened to the public in September 2023, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the local Muslim community. Finally, on February 6, 2024, Plumstead Islamic Centre was officially registered as a *CIO – Foundation*, solidifying its status as a key institution for worship, learning, and community support.
